Building Community with Darine Benamara
Who run the world? Girls.
When she says babes supporting babes, Darine Benamara really means it. She is determined to make a difference and improve gender equality in the workplace. Darine is driven to help women and look for opportunities to grow personally and professionally, same girl, same. We couldn’t be more thrilled to have Darine as our next Toronto Babes Who Brunch speaker. She is the definition of a boss babe, founding her own business The Smart Woman, an initiative that aims to inspire, educate and empower women.
Darine is a gender equality specialist and an advocate for women’s rights, and has dedicated her career to supporting other women. She is the CEO of EasyPoli, a consulting firm that engages with Canadian and global organizations from the private and public sectors to promote inclusion and achieve gender equality in the workplace. Mentioned before, she is also the Founder of The Smart Women, helping professional and business women overcome the challenges of networking and learn how to create smart connections to fulfill their career goals.
For the past seven years she has been building her tribe, cultivating a community of strong, like-minded women and leading initiatives on social and economic empowerment, and political leadership of women in Africa, North America and the Caribbean. Darine emulates what Ace is all about and we can’t wait to hear her talk at the next Babes Who Brunch on Saturday, May 26th at Dominion Pub and Kitchen.
Darine will share her experience starting her own business, fighting for something she believes in and building a community along the way. Through the challenges, obstacles and highlights, Darine will speak about her journey and inspire you to pursue your own passions and goals.
