October 11th has been declared by the United Nations as ‘ Day of the Girl Child’ promoting girls’ human rights and highlights gender inequalities. This event welcomes women of all ages to join us for a film screening of Dream, Girl - a documentary showcasing the stories of inspiring and ambitious female entrepreneurs. Dream, Girl is built with an intention of creating an experience that empowers education, connection and positive affirmations on what it means to be a woman. Join us for light libations, a screening of the documentary and impactful discussions led by some very inspiring women. Dream, Girl is presented in partnership with Elevated HR. Proceeds of the event are being donated to WINS

Alice Reimer is a successful tech entrepreneur and dedicated community mentor and leader. She co-founded Calgary-based Evoco, leading the innovative software firm from initial concept through to a 2012 acquisition. Evoco's technology became the standard construction management system for global retailers including Home Depot, Walmart and Luxottica. Most recently, Alice was the CEO of Chaordix, a pioneering software leader in the crowdsourcing and open innovation space, with global clients including LEGO, Procter & Gamble, KPMG and IBM.
Michelle Berg is the Leading Lady of Elevated – an organization that helps attract, develop and retain top talent by building employee experiences that matter. In 2015 she won the Notable Award in Canada for Entrepreneurship. In 2016, she was selected as one of twenty top leaders in Calgary by Business in Calgary magazine as well as headed up the HR Team of the Year from the Human Resources Institute of Alberta. Just recently she was named a finalist for Woman of Inspiration by Canadian Business Chicks.
Vera Ilnyckyj is the Marketing Manager for Women in Need Society, an organization that helps women and their families help themselves. Vera has over 20 years’ experience in all aspects of marketing including strategic planning, branding, advertising, communications and brand stewardship and she is also a life coach, using her experience to support her clients to facilitate learning and personal growth, helping them set and achieve goals and gaining a clear sense of purpose and direction. Vera is also on the Board of Directors with Servants Anonymous Society, an organization that helps women and girls who have been sexually exploited.
Jill Drader is a mentor, speaker and consultant. Her company Steel Toe Stiletto was inspired from her journey transitioning out of teaching post-secondary English into the skilled trades and became a tile setting apprentice. Tiling in steel toes by day and teaching in stilettos at night. Jill is an educator and consultant to organizations, educational institutes, and private businesses associated with the skilled trades. As a curriculum developer and subject matter expert, she has worked on various projects with Junior Achievement over the past three years. As a speaker she speak with businesses and organizations on gender in the workplace, her stories and experiences through apprenticeship to Journeyman status, leadership, entrepreneurship, her Top 40 under 40 award, Women in Work Boots, and strategy workshops.
